This is a view of the front of the wire wheel while on the splined hub.

 

The following mixture is guaranteed to disolve rust.

1 - 2 liter bottle of diet Pepsi or diet Coke

1 - 8 oz. can of powdered citric acid
(available at all grocery stores in the "Canning" section).


Soak rusty parts in the mixture.

When rust is gone, neutralize parts in a mixture
baking soda and water.

Flush in hot water and dry.
